This includes a journey –aka via a Stairway to Heaven–through boardwalks, a suspension bridge, hardwood forest, fields of wildflowers, train tracks, a pasture, and boulders before you get to the final majestic view. At approximately 7.3 miles (round trip), the hike is definitely for older kids and their families who can climb a somewhat rugged and rocky terrain.
