Helping out the hungry this Thanksgiving is more important than ever before. Here are the food banks and food drives you can donate to or volunteer at this holiday.

This holiday season, so many New Yorkers than any normal year are struggling as a result of COVID-19. Over 2.4 million New York State residents, or 11.9 percent, are food insecure, according to Food Bank NYC. The good news is, when the going gets tough, New Yorkers band together to help out and there are plenty of food banks in New York that your family can donate to. If you are unable to connect with any of the below, ask your local parish or other place of worship if they are collecting food items this Thanksgiving.
