Description: Children in grades 1-6 with their families are invited to celebrate Black History Month with an interactive reading of the book, "These Hands," written by Margaret H. Mason and illustrated by Floyd Cooper. Everyone will participate and be inspired by the story of overcoming racial discrimination at American bakery factories during the 1950s and early 1960s. Refreshments to follow.
