Description: Violinist Yevgeny Kutik will play Max Bruch's Violin Concerto no. 1, op.26 in G minor. A native of Minsk, Belarus, Kutik immigrated to the United States at age five and in 2003 made his debut with the Boston Pops as first-prize recipient of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition. Yevgeny is active in the Jewish Federations of North America, performing throughout the US to raise awareness and promote the assistance of refugees around the world. He is a graduate of Boston University and the New England Conservatory. Also on the November program are Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dances, nos. 5 and 6, and Symphony no. 1, op.68 in C minor.
